Course participants will need to make their own way to Kalamata and to organize their own accommodation there for the duration of their stay.It is important to arrive and settle in Kalamata in advance of the Registration at the Cultural Centre of Kalamata on Monday, 19th August at 8.00 am, as your presence there is imperative.

How to get there
There are daily bus services from Athens, Patras, Ioannina and Thessaloniki to Kalamata. Kalamata Airport is accessible by air from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos airport and from Thessaloniki. Flight services are seasonal.
By bus
From Athens, via the Odos Kifisou terminal. See KTEL Messinias for timetables and online ticketing. Τhe trip takes about 2 hours 45 minutes using the express coach (non -stopping) and 3 hours 15 minutes using the standard coach.
By plane
There are flights from all over the world to Athens International Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. Then, the shuttle bus takes you directly from the Airport to the KTEL (coach terminal) Bus Station Kifisou and then you can reach Kalamata by coach (for more information about the coaches, please check Athens Central Bus Station Kifisou or KTEL Messinias).
There are flights from Athens International Eleftherios Venizelos Airport to Kalamata with Aegean Airlines and from Thessaloniki with Astra Airlines or Olympic Air. There are also seasonal flights directly to Kalamata Airport (KLX) from Heraklion (Sky Express). There are also seasonal international flights directly to Kalamata Airport (KLX).
