The Cultural Centre of Kalamata is an elegant neoclassical building of the early 20th century, to which a modern building with a glass front was added in 1990.
It is only a short ride on the Number 1 bus from the famous beach and seafront promenade with its many cafes and tavernas which stay open late into the night.
